Lisa Malone, Franchised Instructor

It’s fair to say that I’ve been jazzercising for most of my adult life.  I took my first class in 1979, in McLean, Virginia.  It took several classes for me to “get it”, but I did, and haven’t stopped since.  I’ve been a Jazzercise instructor since 1987.  Before moving to Garrett County in 2003, I owned my own Jazzercise Fitness Center in Annapolis, Md.  In 2002, I was featured as a "Guest Instructor" on the Jazzercise Instructor Choreography Video.

I’ve been teaching at Brenda’s Body Shop since Fall 2003.

Two of my other favorite activities that get me out enjoying the natural beauty of Garrett County, are hiking and snow shoeing.  I also bowl in a winter ladies league and volunteer in the hospital Gift Shop.  

I am married to geeky Phil who founded Garrett Engineering and Robotics Society - GEARS.  He stays busy helping Garrett County kids get excited about all things robotic.

We moved to Garrett County to build our dream green house - OurCoolHouse.  

Together we stay busy building and selling a home energy monitoring system.
